Bread Pakoda

When there is a slight chill in the wind or it’s raining, we crave for something crispy and spicy. Then these stuffed pakoda come rescue.


  • Gram flour
  • Garlic
  • Curd
  • Water
  • Carom seeds (Ajwaein)
  • Boiled potatoes


For Stuffing:

  1. Mash the boiled potatoes.
  2. Add coriender, salt and red chilli according to taste.
  3. Dry mango powder and jeera, chat masala would enhance the taste.

For Batter

  1. Take gram flour, add water to it until the batter is not too thick but not too liquid. It should be a little bit gooey.
  2. Add minced garlic, curd .
  3. Little bit of baking powder
  4. Carom seeds.

For Pakoda

  1. Spread the stuffing in between two slices of bread.
  2. Dip them in batter
  3. Fry them in hot oil till they are golden brown
